Tranquil View

I just wanted to say thank you to Sharon , Jamie, Francois, and anyone else that helped with our rental. We loved the property and really appreciate you all helping make our last minute plans a reality. And I know I ask a lot of questions!! Thanks for everything and we look forward to visiting Tranquil View for future week-end trips, when available.

We had an outstanding time. The place is simply perfect for a couple, especially with the view of the harbor and the parking space for a boat. It’s a brief walk less than 100 yards to the parking lot for golf cart rentals. The kitchen is well appointed, including an icemaker in the freezer. There was no problem with hot water. We had a simply enjoyable time and will rent again.

Our favourite place to stay in Hope Town. We come back year after year, I think that says it all!

We have always stayed on the ocean but thought we would try Harbour side this time. Tranquil View is a great place for a couple, a minute walk to the ocean, and it turned out to be a lot of fun watching activities in the Harbour. Our 23' rental boat was docked right at the property.

We had a wonderful week stay at Tranquil View. We loved the location (close to town and golf cart parking lot) and enjoyed many afternoons/evenings on the deck overlooking the harbor. Rental was fully equipped with everything we needed. The private dock was an added bonus for our boat rental. We will definitely be back!

This is a lovely cottage, nicely appointed and well suited with needed items to enjoy cooking, and having friends over. Perfect location to walk everywhere.

This is our favourite place to stay in Hope Town. Central and peaceful, right on the water. Small but it has everything we need.

This was the first time we've been at Tranquil View since Covid and Dorian. Congratulations to the owners who did a splendid job renewing this wonderful property. Just one thing: please add cleats to the dock for tying up a boat!

We just got home from our trip to Hopetown Abaco Bahamas....Our rental cottage was amazing. Perfect sixe for 2 adults, cold AC, all remodeled, furniture and applianc es all new, our own private dock for our rental boat, and back deck on the water was fantastic. We loved it so much we re-booked for June 2023

Tranquil View’s location is absolutely perfect! Right on the water in the harbour. A very short walk to all the shops and restaurants, as well as the golf cart parking area. The place has been recently renovated and is much much better than the photos imply.
Their customer service team is also exceptional. I emailed them about about ten times, over a nine month period before our arrival and they responded very quickly every time with answers to my questions.

It was a wonderful experience. Elbow Cay staff was helpful. Tranquil View was nicely located in town. The renovation and furniture were nicely done and the view on the Harbour was beautiful. I throughly enjoyed my stay.

We enjoyed staying at this well equipped, updated and spotless home! Demand is high - book early - we will!!! Patio on the Harbour is a nice treat. Perfect spot for two!!

It is a wonderful cottage in the center of the Hope Town settlement within walking distance of all essentials, the shops and the beach. The cottage has a lovely, airy sitting room and a large deck with panoramic views of Hope Town Harbour. It offers a well appointed kitchen and is a great accommodation for a single or couple.

We have been coming to Hope Town for over 20 years, and it was wonderful to be back and see the amazing progress they have made since Dorian. It was still and will always be the same beautiful and welcoming island. Tranquil View was recently renovated and looked spectacular. We loved being on the harbor and seeing all the activity. ECP was wonderful to work with as usual and can't wait to get back!

I travel a lot and Hope Town is one of my favorite places in the world.

Waters Edge Studio is a delightful one bedroom villa with a deck right on the water from which to enjoy a drink and watch the boats go by. It is also three minutes walk from a drop dead gorgeous beach and there are several restaurants within walking distance. Ideal for a couple.

The deck and outdoor dining area allowed us to maximize our warm weather vacation - coffee outside every morning, and happy hour drinks were definitely enjoyed there!

This was our 5th? stay at Waters Edge Studio, which I think says it all. It’s ideal for us, small but perfectly formed and has everything a couple really need. It’s nicely decorated, well equipped and in a central location within Hope Town. The “dock” is actually just a platform at the end of the deck but works just fine if you use a stern anchor. As ever Elbow Cay Properties were well organised and very helpful.

We recently stayed in the Water's Edge Studio and you can't find a better place to stay! The doors open to a private deck which is directly on the harbor, and it is beautiful there. The house is perfect for two people, and right in Hopetown, so you are in walking distance to so many things. Last year we stayed in the Summer Magic rental which was also very nice, but you can't beat the location of this one. On New Year's Eve we had a perfect view of the fireworks that were set off over the harbor. The only thing that we weren't aware of is that we thought that we had a private dock, and it turns out that the walkway along our house was also to be used by the people that were renting across the street, to get to the dock where they put their boat that they rented. Good thing we weren't renting a boat for the week because this family did, and used the dock that I thought was ours. Turned out that we enjoyed getting to know this family, but in the future, someone needs to clarify what they are going to do about the dock situation. No one asked us at the time of booking if we were renting a boat, and I don't know what we would have done, had both of us rented boats for the week. Overall, we loved staying here and would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it to any other couples looking to stay in Hopetown.
