We love Topside’s location on the north end of Elbow Cay and its proximity to the North End dock. Quiet and peaceful. We had issues with trash containers not being emptied, 3 out of 4 bikes with no air in the tires (including one missing which we found at the canvas shop and no ECP rep to meet us on our arrival). Regardless, this is our fourth time on Elbow Cay and we will come again. Love this beautiful island.
Manager's Response
No one likes to see comments like this. The trash pick ups are done by the local waste management three times a week early in the morning. From what we can determine, the previous guests put the trash cans in the wrong end of the driveway. As soon as we were notified, one of our employees moved them to the right locale. Bikes are not included with this rental but as soon as you made us aware of the problem, our staff picked up the one that needed repairs and switched it out with a loaner. As to not meeting your party, we waited until 6:45 pm before we sent our guy home. Because flights are often late, we do not send anyone down to the docks to meet our guests until we know they are on the ferry or have called us from the boat rental company that they are on the way. These instructions are included in all the information our renters receive. Your email us stated your flight was coming in around 1 pm, you were getting groceries and picking up your boat and you would call. We never heard from you.

We have stayed at many of the homes on Elbow Cay over the years and Topside is absolutely one of the best! The property is well maintained and nicely furnished inside and out. The north area is our favorite part of the island, it’s peaceful and all about the water views.

Working with Elbow Key Properties was a very pleasant experience. Everyone was helpful in all respects from locating a rental through our departure. We spent Christmas week with family at Topside on the north end. It’s a very nice, spacious house with a spectacular view of the bay including the magnificent sunsets!

We have vacationed in Hopetown since 1986 and this last vacation certainly ranks right up there with the best. As always, Elbow Cay Properties was ready for us as TOPSIDE was just beautiful...we knicknamed it "TIP TOPSIDE !" See you next year!!

We enjoyed every minute at Topside, from the view to the fully equipped kitchen. We never had to leave the property. It was so peaceful and quiet. Our family enjoys puzzles so we were happy to know Topside had them especially on a rainy day. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this Topside.

The place was clean, beautiful and in a great location. When we did have wifi issues they took care of it as soon as possible to restore it. The only thing that should be noted is that when we tried to load the dishwasher it would fall forward out of the cabinet, seemed to be held in the cabinet by duct tape at the top.
We had three couples stay at Topside and we started each morning on top of the world looking down on the settlement and the anchored boats around us while sipping coffee and planning our day. Topside comes with a gate key so rent a golf cart or two to get to town and the south end restaurants and beaches. Or, cook a few meals in the well stocked kitchen and enjoy the view from the deck with a cocktail. The home doesn’t provide drinking water so buy some jugs at Vernon’s or Maxwells grocery on Marsh Harbor before you get to the house. We boiled the tap water for coffee. Comfy beds, great showers and quiet beach. We’ll be back!
