Sea Glass

We had an amazing experience for our first time visiting Elbow Cay! The accommodations were great and the location was unbeatable! We loved having a dock and stunning beach access. It was a short walk to HopeTown but we rented bikes and were able to get anywhere we needed on the island.

It's always a pleasure working with Elbow Cay Properties, and this house has a lot of charm. We've been coming to Hope Town for over 30 years and, although we like a lot of the newer houses being built, we prefer houses like Sea Glass that are a bit older. Having views of both sides of the island on one property is very nice too.

Weather was perfect; Seaglass is in a great location; great views of the sunset.

Amazing experience. Stayed here with my family and it was lovely. Easy access to the settlement, Sea of Abaco, and Atlantic Ocean. No need for a golf cart~your legs will suffice! Watch the sunrise from the perch, sunset from your front porch or dock, and fall asleep to the sounds of the waves. Need I say more?!

The description and photos are accurate, but somehow Sea Glass was even better than expected. It has incredible views from all over the property, the dock was perfect for our boat even at the lowest tide, and the house had everything we needed. An outdoor shower is a must in the Bahamas, and this one didn't disappoint. We never used the indoor shower. We've stayed at the far north end a few times, and that can make for some long trips into town when the road is in rough condition. This location was very easy to walk or ride bikes into town, so we never felt the need for a cart at the house (we did have a cart for the south end). The layout is perfect for two couples; the third bedroom is attached to the main bedroom, so it is best used as a huge walk-in closet. Properties managed by ECP are always clean and in tip-top condition. I would definitely stay here again.

With a dock on the sound and 2 decks on the ocean side, the views were unbeatable.

Clean, freshly maintained, dock and beach house. Great views of the Atlantic Ocean, Sea of Abaco and Elbow Cay Lighthouse from the newly renovated deck. I would highly recommend this house for anyone looking for the old Bahama Charm.

Sea Glass was the perfect location for us. Close enough to walk back and forth to the Settlement daily, and remote enough to be perfectly peaceful and private. The location can't be beat - private dock on the Sea of Abaco, for a small boat to run into town and spear fish and conch around the island, and private access to the most beautiful stretch of beach on the Atlantic side. The new deck by the stairs to the beach with the view of the Hopetown Lighthouse was an added bonus!
The house itself is a wonderful cottage, with a nice front porch to relax on and watch the sunset, and beautiful natural landscaping. The kitchen is spacious, and open to the dining and living areas.
Be warned that the sleeping areas are a little unusual. There is a private bedroom with twin beds, accessed through the "master" bedroom. You also access the shared bathroom and side entrance through the master bedroom. I would have swapped the beds to give the privacy to the "master". That said, there is a guest cottage we used as our master, with a private bathroom. It suited us perfectly to have our own space.
Another bonus is the outdoor shower with views of the dock, and sunsets.
