Sandalwood

3rd consecutive summer in Sandalwood. Love the house and location. A few maintenance issues: ceiling fan in bedroom not working for 2nd year in row;
Foot washer spray handle on back deck broken; one refrigerator not working but no notice or posting not to use so we had food spoil.

We had a great time at Sandalwood! The house was beautiful, well equipped and very comfortable for our party of 6 adults. The bedrooms were comfortable, private and quiet and the living area ans balconies were perfect. The property management team was very professional and responsive, and provided assistance and advice whenever we asked. We were not able to rent a golf cart or boat, but we rented bikes, went on a couple of day charters, and enjoyed the beautiful private beach at the house. The walk to town for groceries, restaurants and shops was easy. We would definitely go back!.

This is our third year we have stayed at Sandalwood. We love the northend and especially the ability of having a place where we can have family gather. WIFI was disappointing but our in home techs were able to handle it. The home is a magnificent experience. Cool winds from the Atlantic and accessible warmth from the Abaco Sea depending which side of the house you are on. A wrap around deck to cool the upper floor and air conditioning on the lower. Wonderful furnishings large upper floor for gathering. The Property Management team were very responsive to requests that we had. Definitely a memory maker.

We had a great week-long family vacation followed up with friends joining us the second week. We love our time there as it is very special and we will be back!

Excellent property! GREAT location on the beach. Clean and spacious house with all conveniences of home. It is definitely a plus to have a boat dock. This house has beautiful 360 deck with amazing views.

Very spacious, well equipped property with incredible views of both that Atlantic and Sea of Abaco from the wrap around deck. Close proximity to Hope Town and steps away from a quiet sandy beach. WiFi reception. In secondary building was non existent. Cable TV service would have been nice in the main home but not a deal breaker. Overall we would come back again.

Family and friends joined us at different times as we made lovely Sandalwood our place for over two weeks. Perfect, gorgeous, and accessible to the island amenities, all one needs for a wonderful relaxing vacation.

This is our fourth time on Elbow but first time on the North End. Very Peaceful and quiet but close to Hopetown. Elbow Cay Properties was great as always. Caretaker met us at the dock to help with luggage. Views from the house are unreal. No issues with the lack of AC in the main living area. Wifi was a little slow and not consistent.

Elbow Cay is our favorite island to visit. We have stayed at several rental properties but this one is our favorite because of the amaxing views from both sides of the house. The only negative thing is there is no AC on the top floor so you have to keep the doors open which is ok except for the bugs. There are no bedrooms on the top floor. We will stay there again.

We’ve used Elbow Cay Properties before and it’s always top-notch, 5 star service. Not only before arrival, but during our stay they were always there if we had questions or needed recommendations. This house in particular was absolutely perfect for us (2 couples)- close to everything, yet also secluded. Insanely gorgeous views and pure paradise. I whole heartedly recommend this house and Elbow Cay Properties!

We have been coming to Hopetown since 1980 and thoroughly enjoyed our first time stay in this beautifull home. Two levels of wraparound porches offered a variety of winds, temperature, quiet getaways and a view of the Abaco sea. The beach was available out the back door. The second house offered a comfortable getaway for extra guests. The kitchen was a great size for multiple cooks and with all the amenities that would be needed. The furniture was stylish, comfortable, and appropriate for the number of people. The land around the house was expansive and provided a quiet solitude. This home is definitely on our list for a return visit.

Couldn’t think of a more beautiful and relaxing place to spend a holiday than Sandalwood. If you want peace, a magical view, privacy and luxury then this is your place. If you are looking for something more action packed then don’t go. Elbow Cay is for those who want to slow down and escape. We had terrific help when we needed it from the team at Elbow Cay Properties. A real treat.

Our family of 6 including 2 young grandkids had a great time at Sandalwood. I'm afraid this place will become so popular that I will not have the opportunity to stay here in the future. It was simply perfect for us.
