Lantana Cottage

Beautiful 2 bedroom 3 bath in the Hope Town harbor. The cottage is updated and kept very clean. The owner is very responsive as well as the property manager, Clara. We look forward to staying here again.

This was our third stay in Lantana, why would we choose anywhere else? The entire house is beautifully maintained with lovely furnishings and conveniences. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped and spacious, open to the main living area so the cook can still hang out with everyone. Being next to Capt Jacks restaurant is a huge plus, giving easy access to excellent food/drinks and a place to meet friends. Having such easy access to the home’s private dock a few steps away was perfect. Another wonderful attribute is 3 full bathrooms!! This house will always be our first choice.

Our stay at Lantana Cottage was great. The house was clean and very convenient to everything. The boat dock is right in front of the house. We’ve stayed at several places over the years and this one is good as any. Plenty to do if you have any bad weather days. We would definitely stay again.

Such a great place to stay! The location was perfect. Loved having a dock right in front of the house and the view to the harbor was so nice to look at sitting on the front porch.

Our experience could not have gone any better! We celebrated our daughter's wedding and Lantana was the perfect place for us. We have been using Elbow Cay Properties for 24 years and will continue to do so.

What an amazing place to stay! Couldn't be more comfortable for your family of 4. And so conveniently located near Vernon's, Munchie's, Cap't Jacks and everywhere else you want to be! Our favorite was drinking our coffee with our amazing view of the lighthouse. Thanks for you hospitality, Lana and Jack! We will definitely be back.

Awesome 2 bed 3 bath cottage right in town! Remodeled, updated, clean, comfortable beds, large dining table, great front porch and upper porches for morning coffee or happy hour drinks. Liked having our own A/C unit in both bedrooms for your personal temperature control. Very convenient location with a dock for your boat right across the street. The house generator is a must in Hope Town, good wifi, and nice to have a TV although it wasn't used much.

Can't say enough about the super friendly and helpful staff at Elbow Cay Properties! Would definitely stay at Lantana Cottage again.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Lantana Cottage. It was nicely updated from hurricane Dorian and our family of 4 fit perfectly. The kitchen had everything you needed and lots of storage space for snacks and groceries. It was perfectly located between Vernon's Grocery and Harbor View Grocery for any needs missed in Marsh Harbor shopping. Further it was perfectly positioned next to Captain Jack's Liquor and the restaurant (when it opens). Jack and Lana were super friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed siting on the front porch in the mornings as well as star gazing on the top porches at night. Finally the dock spot was key as we had a boat and it was right in front of the house, couldn't have been more convenient. I would suggest a golf cart as getting in touch with restaurants was difficult and availability of shuttles was not consistent due to COVID. We can't wait until our next trip.

What a great job Jack and Lana did on their rental property. We had a lovely time and will be back very soon. Don't forget to rent a golf cart.

The cottage is beautifully remodeled and had everything we needed and more. Jack and Lana were perfect hosts! We are counting down the days until we can return!
(Also, the process of getting Covid tests for return was quick and simple, just a walk down the road to the clinic).

We recently stayed at Lantana with another couple. The house was conveniently located to “downtown” Hopetown and the dock was just a few steps from the house. The house was very comfortable for two adult couples and adequately furnished. Each couple had almost identical rooms and adjoining bathroom. There is a third full bath on the first floor. AC worked well and there is a back up generator. We went for walks each morning and sunset cruise each evening. Boated everyday as well to various beaches, reefs fair snorkeling and waterfront restaurants. Great trip and Lantana is a great location for first timers to Elbow. I would try to find a place a little out if town with a dock next next time

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lantana Cottage. It had all the amenities we needed and right on the harbor with its own boat dock. Great location to restaurants and shops. Captain Jacks restaurant directly across the street and the Coffee House next door. Will stay there again!

Immaculate, clean, wonderful place to stay on Elbow Cay. We wouldn’t change a single thing about this little place. Very centrally located, all the amenities you could ask for, we will stay here again in a heartbeat. Very close to everything in Hope Town, a very short walk to your own private dock, it’s the ideal place to stay while vacationing in the Abacos.

Lantana Cottage is in a great location right in the center of Hopetown, convenient to grocery stores restaurants and even ice cream. Perfect set up for 2 couples.
It has a wonderful view of the harbor and lighthouse and a handy dock across the street for a small boat. The only negative was the noise from the restaurant fan at Captain Jack's.

We rented the Lantana cottage for a week with another couple and we were very pleased with the cottage. The cottage was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We came over on our 29 foot boat and it was very nice to have a slip for the boat just a short distance from the cottage. Another significant advantage to the Lantana cottage was the standby generator! Power was out on the island several times while we were there but because of the generator we were unaffected! That was a HUGE Pluss! Also the Russell’s could not have been nicer or more helpful. I would recommend the Lantana cottage.
