Doc's Hideaway

Very easy to book. Friendly staff, informative on what we needed to know. The property was amazing! The colors the smells of all the flowers & plants. The house was perfect. The pool was great. Every morning I saw the sun rise from the deck. The beach access & gazebo was beautiful.

Lory Kenyon and crew are absolutely fantastic to deal with and in all the various cottages we've rented over the years, we've always been treated with utmost care and attention. Our Doc's Hideaway stay was no exception. Francois was waiting on us when we pulled up in the boat, and made sure all was to our satisfaction before he left. Lory did us a huge favor in returning our golf cart pass. Five stars all the way.

Having travelled to Elbow Cay many times over the past 40 years, but never stayed on the north end, we were a bit skeptical, but both Elbow Cay Properties and Doc's Hideaway did not disappoint. The cottage was fantastic in every way, and the location turned out to be very amazing. The property and grounds were clean, and the lush, tropical landscaping were stunning. I've always had exceptional experiences with Elbow Cay Properties also, as they are extremely client oriented, and do not hesitate to make everyone feel at home and handle any and all concerns promptly and efficiently.

Fantastic experience! The staff at Elbow Cay Properties couldn't be more accomodating and efficient in their operation. The home was actually better than described. We'd enjoy coming back to this property again in the future no doubt.

Ideal space for our family, couples, decks, pool, and outdoor shower great for reading, meals. The lawn, gazebo, and beach perfect for frisbee, kickball, drinks by the water. Large very well kept property. Elbow Cay Properties the best to work with and very professional.

Great location and the house was clean and had incredible views. Look forward to coming back.

We enjoyed the week spend at Doc's Hideaway, as it was very private and remotely located on the quiet north end. Listening to the ocean breeze every night to lull you to sleep is something I will definitely miss. The house has everything you need in terms of utensils, games, books etc. and we would definitely stay there again. The management staff was great in answering our questions and ensureing someone was there to greet us on our arrival and departure. The only suggestion would be is to have a better beach towels. Upon arrival I inquired as to where they were and the only thing the caretaker could find was an assortment of striped bath towels under one of the bathroom vanity cabinets which barely covered half of the lounger, so I ended up having my husband purchase one large one for us to use during the week. Also just to note, the owners home adjoins the rental home via the outside decks and although they were not there during our stay, I think it would have been uncomfortable and not nearly as relaxing if they were. From their home, they can see right in the living room and bedroom areas of the rental not to mention the shared deck making me feel as if I was being watched. I would definitely inquire when renting this property if the owner will be there or not, as I would consider staying elsewhere if they were.

DOC’s Hideaway is a great spot for vacation. Love the Tiki Bar and the improvements like air conditioners in each living space.

Access to washer and dryer
Declutter of the kitchen utensils and pots and pans and perhaps a complete set of forks, knives and spoons.
